I am a PostDoc in the group of Prof. Dr. Caroline Dorn, Institute for Particle Physics and Astrophysics, ETH Zurich.
I am studying the interaction between the interiors and the atmospheres of sub-Neptunes.
During my PhD, I was part of the Center for Star and Planet Formation, GLOBE Institute under the supervision of
Anders Johansen. There, I studied the formation of rocky planets by pebble accretion. My work focused on the effect of envelope processes such as sublimation
of the incoming pebbles.
Before joining StarPlan, I completed my bachelor's and master's degree in physics at the University of Heidelberg. During my time there,
I was part of the group on theoretical planet formation at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy.

My main interest is the formation and evolution of rocky planets and ice giants. Simply put, I want to find out how we can explain the diversity of observed exoplanets by understanding how they form and evolve.
I have previously worked on the formation of planetesimals via gravitional collapse of particle clouds. To see a poster summary of this research click here.
